Zusammenfassung & Show Notes

In this episode Jenny Stefanotti delves deep into her journey of intellectual curiosity, motherhood, and international experiences that have shaped her unique perspective on systemic change. Growing up as an only child, Jenny’s early independence and curiosity were nurtured by a diverse socio-economic environment. A transformative trip to Israel and Egypt at 19 sparked her interest in international development and challenged her values around success and fulfillment.

Jenny’s career path took her from tech industry roles at Google to earning a master’s degree in economics and international development. She later founded Denizen, a media platform and co-learning community focused on systemic change across six themes: economics, politics, technology, consciousness, culture, and justice. Denizen aims to redesign the value systems, incentives, and social contracts underpinning modern society through community engagement and intellectual inquiry  .

Denizen’s community includes a diverse group of entrepreneurs, scholars, artists, activists, and leaders from organizations like the Center for Humane Technology and the Buckminster Fuller Institute. The community is committed to values such as humility, curiosity, generosity, diversity, integrity, and accountability  .

Throughout the conversation, Jenny highlights the significance of aligning one’s work with personal values and the broader needs of the world, advocating for a holistic approach to systemic change that integrates intellectual rigor with emotional and spiritual well-being. Her insights offer a compelling vision for a future where humanity flourishes in harmony with nature, driven by authentic, community-oriented, and regenerative practices  .
